WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Sunday, folks got the chance to learn about sustainability practices at Old 40 Farm. It's all to celebrate Earth Day that's happening Monday!

Old 40 is a farm and animal sanctuary in West Terre Haute. Visitors were able to see animals, browse the plants for sale, and enjoy family-friendly activities.

Kids also got to roll out yoga mats and stretch it out with some cute goats by their side. The owner says she saw this as a great opportunity for visitors to connect with nature.

"We find it very important to re-use, recycle as much as possible on the farm on a daily basis. It was a great opportunity for us to have an open house and reach out to more people," said Katie Rubinacci, owner.

Old 40 Farm is also hosting a few other events soon, including Mommy and Me Goat Yoga on May 11.
