Minneapolis vegan butchers and siblings Aubry and Kale Walch were the butt of a joke in Jimmy Fallon's Tuesday night monologue.

The comedian joked, "I read about a brother and sister in Minneapolis who are opening the world's first vegan butcher shop. Yeah, at the vegan butcher they promise to kill all the flavor, but in a humane way. If you boil it long enough, there is no flavor. Tastes like nothing."

The Walch siblings, who just raised more than $60,000 on Kickstarter to launch the butcher shop, called The Herbivorous Butcher, responded by issuing a social media challenge for Fallon to try their products.

The siblings started selling items like pepperoni, Italian sausage, barbecue ribs, deli bologna and teriyaki jerky at local farmers' markets this summer, and the demand was so great that they are planning for a standalone shop, to be located in Northeast Minneapolis.

They claim that theirs will be the first vegan butcher shop in the world.
