Col (Ret.) Ronald Rabin Sworn in as North Carolina #39;s 12th District Senator
Lillington, NC - Colonel (Ret.) Ronald Rabin was sworn in today for his first term as North Carolina #39;s 12th District Senator at the Harnett County Board of Commissioners #39; Meeting Room with over (MIGHT CHANGE) 200 guest in attendance. District Court Judge Mary Wells administered the oath of office as his wife, Mona held a Holy Bible that has been in their family for more than 50 years. "I AM HUMBLED BY THE trust and confidence bestowed upon me by the people of the 12 district, and promise to work to the best of my ability to represent this district with honor, integrity, and humility." Rabin was joined by State Representative David Lewis, the Western Harnett High School JROTC, and a host of family and friends. He would like to extend special congratulations to Boy Scout Pack 713 for earning the requirements to receive the citizenship belt loop for participating in today #39;s ceremony. Rabin will be serving as Co-Vice Chair on the Senate Finance Committee and as a member of the Education Committee, Agriculture/Environment/Natural Resources Committee, Health Committee, Pensions/Retirement/Aging Committee, and Appropriations/NER Committee.
