When: 2-3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17 AND 2-3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18.

Where: EWU Learning Commons, main level of JFK Library

Why: Come tour the EWU Learning Commons, a newly designed space in the library. Established as a single location to access multiple academic services (research, writing, tutoring, technology, and personal development), the Learning Commons is already a buzz of activity. Discover tools conducive to active learning: white board tables, rolling white boards, collaborative furniture, media:scape stations for group e-sharing, and so much more.

Light refreshments will be served at the Open House. Learning Commons partners currently include Libraries, Multimedia Commons (formerly MARS Lab), PLUS, and Writers Center. Interim Dean of Libraries, Ted Otto, will be on hand to answer questions, as well as other partners and students in the Learning Commons.

Come see the latest environment provided for our students to help enrich their learning experience in multiple ways!
