It was only a matter of time before the Rams reached double digits in personal records ... in one meet. Despite Saturdays poor weather conditions at the Massachusetts State Track Coaches Association Invitational at the Wrentham Development Center, the Rams set 10 personal bests on the 5K course, an accomplishment that Marshfield Head Coach Ed Ryan called, fantastic.

In the varsity race, Kate Spitler, Sarah Nicoll, Bri Doherty, Elizabeth Vincent, and Stephani Lacasse set personal records, while Alex Rodriguez, Tori Barrows, Nicole Olson, Jessica Merritt, and Meg Birkmeyer did so in the junior varsity race.

In the jayvee race, Rodriguez had the highest finish for Marshfield, coming in 46th place, running a time of 23 minutes, 49 seconds in the 5K race.

In the freshman race, Cecilia White finished 15th, medaled, and ran 12:58 on the 1.9-mile freshmen course.

Spitler ran a 20:59, finishing 57th, in the varsity race. Nicoll clocked a 21.02, placing 58th, while Doherty registered a time of 21.45 and finished 90th.

The Rams were scheduled to race Atlantic Coast League foe Plymouth South Tuesday afternoon. Their race against Plymouth North last week was postponed. No makeup date had been set as of press time.
