OIRT Annual Showcase: Keynote Address "Education and Technology" by Dean Susan Lawrence
Susan Lawrence, School of Arts and Sciences Dean for Core Curriculum and Educational Initiatives, give the keynote address: Education and Technology, at OIRT #39;s Annual Technology and Learning Showcase. The 2012 Annual Showcase took place on December 12th. The thematic areas this year were online and hybrid teaching and learning, assessment, research computing, and technologies for teaching and learning. OIRT hosted presentations by faculty and staff, faculty-facilitated roundtable discussions, technology demonstrations, and many other opportunities for interaction and learning. The Office of Instructional and Research Technology (OIRT) provides coordination for use of information technology throughout the university community in support of instruction and research. As part of the Office of Information Technology, OIRT can meet with departments to review research and instructional IT services at Rutgers. Get more information at oirt.rutgers.edu
