KUALA LUMPUR: Celcom Axiata Bhd has launched a three-in-one online education service to help students prepare for their UPSR, PMR and SPM examination.

Known as Educube, the e-learning portal incorporates school, tuition and exams and offers over 70,000 questions with six key modules for students, including multimedia lessons, topical exercise, online notes, online report card and e-assessment.

Celcom Axiata Bhd Advanced Data chief operations Afizulazha Abdullah said the Educube would enable students to revise for their exams and enhance their learning experience in a fun and interactive way at any time via their computers, smartphones and tablets.

Education is the key. This is part of our initiative to provide an alternative and fun learning adventure for students in an affordable manner.

Its content is based on the official education curriculum and it's constantly moulded to deliver an innovative educational experience, he said at the launch of Educube here yesterday.

Students, he said, would also be given immediate feedback on their performance to help them identify their weak points and improve accordingly.

Schools and students can also participate in the online exams for UPSR, PMR and SPM where they can gauge their standing compared to others. Those who perform well in their actual tests will be rewarded.

Parents and teachers would also be able to monitor the students' performance via an online report card.

The Educube is available to both Celcom subscribers and non-subscribers at RM4.99 a month via an immediate SMS subscription and Educube cards respectively.

Non-subscribers can get the prepaid cards at Blue Cube outlets from next week, he said.
