Have you ever came back home from an intense days work, leaving you feeling completely drained?

I am sure that you can think of those days where something hasnt gone quite to plan, making you feel extremely frustrated, anxious, scared or even angry. Once youre in that mood, you feel like there is no way out.

Have you ever considered meditation? How would you feel if you could just escape for 10 minutes? Its worth trying. You may find it will leave you feeling rejuvenated.

Are you feeling any negativity as you read this now. Are you still frustrated by personal issues?

We could try this right now. First close your eyes and take in three big deep breaths. This will make you feel ready to take in the next part of what I am about to give you. You may read the meditative writing out loud or in your head, whichever you prefer.

Try to get immersed in the writing, feel the words flowing through your body to get the best results.

I have personally written this meditative scene to relax the senses. I hope you enjoy it. Have fun and recuperate.

A cool breeze caresses my face as I notice the water gently tapping at my feet. The soft crunch of the sand under my feet is comforting as my eyes take a sweeping glance around the bay. The sun has nearly set so there is only a subtle golden orange glow peeping through the velvet darkness.

I feel completely grounded as this scene continues to take my mind away. This is my escape from reality. Here I am free from stresses and worries. Here I am finally given a chance to relax and to become one with my surroundings.

I focus on my breathing, making sure each breath is deep, slow and intently savoured. As I breathe in deep through my nose, I first feel the cool air that nips at my nostrils, and then I smell the sweetly natural scents of wildflowers and the pleasant notes of the saltwater. I hold this breath momentarily as I begin to taste the aromas in the back of my throat which I decide to savour and then I breath out slow. As I end the first breath, I feel my shoulders release all tension and I feel my body becoming lighter.
