MAHB Opens Fitness Centre To Protect Employees From Health Risks

SEPANG, April 24 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) showed its commitment to promote a healthy workforce by launching its Fitness Centre and its "Biggest Loser" weight loss challenge.

Managing Director Tan Sri Bashir Ahmad launched the centre, accompanied by MAHB Chairman Tan Sri Dr Aris Othman.

Bashir said the centre and sports facilities proved MAHB's commitment to protect its employees from health risk related to obesity and unhealthy lifestyle.

The spanking new gymnasium is fully equipped with fitness peripherals costing about RM140,000 and offers an opportunity for staffers to be fitness trainers at the centre.
