Kellie Pickler sat down with Fitness Magazine recently to discuss her health and fitness routine, her diet and her music. She also revealed whether or not she and husband Kyle Jacobs are planning children any time soon. Thats something that is important to talk about before you get married! she told the magazine. You have to make sure you both want the same things. Were not actively trying, but if it happens, it happens.

Kellie is a vegetarian and shared that she really does love to eat vegetables. She also admitted what her favorite foods to splurge on are and her philosophy about dieting. Asparagus is my favorite and I really enjoy grilled onions, peppers, zucchini and squash, she said. I love fruit too and drink a lot of water to get all of the junk out! Its really true about you are what you eat. What you eat really is reflected on the outside. Still, I splurge and have a cake and ice cream, just not every day.

Kellie always looks great on the red carpet, but it isnt from hours logged at the gym. She prefers manual labor with her husband. At the very least, she has to be distracted before starting a workout.

Im not a gym girl, she said. My husband and I are in the middle of a landscaping project which is keeping us busy and I actually love mowing with our push mower! Im so ADD, so I like things outdoors like kayaking. I have a treadmill but I have to put a movie in before I start walking.
