The Dietrich Theater in downtown Tunkhannock is hosting a free class, Yoga for the Guardians of Your Health, Monday, Sept. 23 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.Donations will be accepted to help support other health and wellness programs like this one at the Dietrich Theater.

The body is made to heal itself, said Barbara Tierney, Yoga instructor. Join us as we work to open the healing and preventative capacity of the body through conscious breathwork, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, locks and postures to balance our glandular system and realize the full potential of the body.

She added that Kundalini yoga is challenging to everyone, but everyone can do it. Participants should bring a pillow or cushion, unless they wish to sit on a chair, and bring a mat or towel for the relaxation.

This class will be an introduction to Kundalini Yoga and will be followed by classes on Monday nights at the same time.

For more information about Kundalini Yoga go to kriteachings.org or 3ho.org. To find out more about this fundraising event, call (570) 996-1500.
