Yoga studio owner Kerri Reinbold to discuss her leadership philosophy at GVSU Wheelhouse Talk

GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- An entrepreneur who operates yoga studios in Grand Rapids and Holland is the featured speaker at a discussion hosted by Grand Valley State University focusing on leadership.

Kerri Reinbold, co-founder of Funky Buddha Yoga Hothouse, is scheduled to speak Wednesday, Jan. 16, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts for a GVSU lecture series known as the Wheelhouse Talks.

A West Michigan native, Reinbold is expected to discuss her experience starting a business, and why the regions creative energy motivated her to return after living in Chicago, according to the university. Reinbold is passionate about healing, health and encouraging her yoga students.

In a news release announcing the discussion, Reinbold described how she became involved in yoga after a knee injury left her unable to run. She said her experience with yoga has transformed her life in ways she said she couldnt have scripted thanks to an accessible, relevant, and fun approach to health and fitness.
