Celebration fall baseball Celebration Little League is holding registration for its fall baseball program for children ages 4-16. Registation is available at Food Truck Friday, Aug. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the baseball complex (851 Celebration Ave.) and at Chick-Fil-A (6050 W. U.S. Hwy. 192) Aug. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. The fee is $80 (except for the Challenger program). Guardians must provide proof of birthdate for each child and three documents proving residency, or one document supporting school enrollment. Practice begins in September. Register online at http://www.celebrationlittleleague.com. Celebration youth soccer league Registration for the Celebration Youth Soccer (CYS) fall recreational season will be open until Aug. 8. All participants will be placed by registration date and team availability. Once initial teams are filled, wait lists will be formed. Training sessions will begin Aug.2. Fittpalooza5K Osceola Heritage Park is the site of the FITTPALOOZA5K run and fitness challenge Sept. 13 to benefit Osceola County and Oviedo YMCAs. FITTPALOOZA5K does not include mud, trees, or lakes. Rather, the family-fun event is designed for people who want to experience outdoor fitness challenges. FITTPALOOZA5K is powered by FitDeck (www.fitdeck.com), as seen on ABCs Shark Tank, to provide participants with fitness challenges using the FitDeck Bodyweight exercise playing cards such as jumping jacks, push-ups, and squats at the FITT ZONES. To register for the 5K and fitness challenge event visit http://www.fittpalooza5k.com. The registration fee is $40 per person for a limited time, then $45. Juniors (nder 12) are $20. FHSAA practice dates The Florida High School Athletic Association permits practice to begin Monday for the fall sports of football, volleyball, swimming and golf. Practice for cross country begins Aug. 11. Students who wish to participate in high school athletics must first pass a physical by an approved medical professional and turn in the form to the high school athletic office before they will be permitted to practice. Physical forms are available at the high school offices. Senior Softball Osceola Senior Softball welcomes players ages 55-over. All skill levels are welcome. Tough Mudder The Tough Mudder adventure challenge comes to Osceola County for the first time Nov. 8-9 at Trophykart Ranch on Poinciana Boulevard. SC Aquatic Team The St. Cloud Aquatic Team, a U.S. Swimming affiliate, welcomes swimmers ages 5-and-over who have experience swimming the length of the pool with a crawl stroke.
