I #39;d hesitate for biking, as I am not sure if they would hold up to use on a saddle. These are an excellent single-layer ski pant. They have a fantastic temperature range, have been comfortable skiing from 0F to 35F with this as the only layer. Falling and getting them covered in snow has no effect on the warmth of the pant, nor does wind. Makes it easy to get ready regardless of weather conditions, I just grab the sporthill pant -- I wish top layer decisions were as easy. They are tighter fitting than you might expect unless you have very skinny legs, more like tights than typical running pants. I got the best fit in a men #39;s Small even though my usual excercise clothing is Medium. I think the tight fit is a necessary part of how they work to keep you warm. One thing to note is that the version pictured has an "XC" label on the front, I #39;ve seen versions of the pant with a "Sporthill" label instead. Both are the same 3SP fabric and seem to be just different year #39;s iterations of the same model pant, however I did notice a slight difference in fit.... the "XC" version was more fitted to the outside thigh, whereas the "sporthill" one seemed to flare out a bit. The difference is very slight, would be hard to tell unless you compare them side by side ...From:georgiann fortenberryViews:0 0ratingsTime:00:54More inSports
