I #39;ve found that the HRM is compatible with the equipment at my gym (treadmills and excercise bikes) meaning that I can see my current heart rate and calorie count on the machines I am using instead of having to look at my watch. I think the equipment in my gym is Life Fitness which states on the machines they are compatible with Polar, however, as I say I have found this watch is also compatible.
