Man versus Food host Adam Richman goes vegan losing 30kg on the way

April 9, 2015, 2:25 p.m.

Known for salivating over dripping racks of barbeque ribs and brimming burgers, Adam Richman now picks his meat feasts carefully.

Beyonce does it. Natalie Portman does it too. Russell Brand, Mike Tyson and even Ellen DeGeneres are all on board the tofu train.

Yep, going vegan is hotter than paleo pork sliders.

But the latest star to make the switch is highly unexpected.

Man v Foodhost Adam Richman is known for salivating over dripping racks of barbecue ribs and brimming burgers.

Not any more.

"I've been vegan for the past three months," says the 40 year old who has lost nearly 30 kilograms on his new regime.

But, like Queen Bey, Richman is only a part-time vegan.

In an interview with The Independent, he says that he sticks to the diet when he is training for his one love second to food: soccer.

Adam Richman Goes Vegan, Except His Instagram Pictures And Interview Say Something Different

Posted: at 8:49 am

Former Man v. Food star Adam Richman made a shocking statement Wednesday: Hes a vegan. Anyone who is familiar with the reality food star knows thats a crazy thing to hear from Richman since he became famous for taking on extreme challenges and woofing down massive amounts of food on Man v. Food. And his ardor for gluttonous treats still exists. He essentially made the choice to become vegan for health reasons and not moral ones.

Ive been vegan for the past three months or so, because Im in training for football right now, Richman told Hello! Magazine via Metro.co.uk. And for Soccer Aid I went 100 percent vegan. The reality star lost 70 pounds in June 2014 and credited his weight loss to playing soccer and making healthier choices.

Richman, 40, explained he will still indulge in some of his favorite foods. Now does that mean Im not going to have a steak? No I absolutely will when I want to, but its just about picking and choosing my spots, and when I want to have that cow and I wanna have that bacon, Im going to make it count, Im going to make it great quality, he told the magazine.

Some people might argue that Richmans diet isnt exactly vegan. He admits that he picks and chooses where he will eat that meat product, and from posts on his Instagram account it seems like he still regularly eats like an omnivore.

Great for meat eaters, lovers of Korean food, or anyone with taste buds, he said about kalbi in a post from three weeks ago in Hawaii. When he traveled to Dublin, Ireland, over a month ago, he used hashtags like steak on fleek to describe his meal. And there are many more posts like these from the past three months when he was supposedly abstaining from meat and dairy.

Bottom line, if Richmans a vegan, he throws the term around loosely.

Bella Reina Splashes The Pink “V” with the Introduction of Vegan Lipstick

Posted: at 11:52 pm

Delray Beach, FL (PRWEB) April 07, 2015

Bella Reina, a spa and cosmetic products manufacturer from Florida, is known for its line of makeup made with the use of carefully selected natural, vegan and organic ingredients. As part of its growing collection, they have recently introduced vegan lipstick to raving fans. The combination of the retro case, the trademark pink "V" and the outstanding pucker ability has the company scrambling to fill backorders.

What It Does

The vegan lipstick from Bella Reina will add a spark of lip color that will delight makeup aficionados. The pure mineral pigments used will not only make lips explode with color but will also provide moisturizing and softness. It also offers UV protection to protect the lips from the heat of the sun when outdoors.

What Makes It Different

This lipsticks are 100% vegan, which is the biggest factor that differentiates it from the other alternatives in the marketplace. In addition, they are Paraben-Free, Gluten-Free, Chemical-Free and Petroleum-Free, Bee-Free and Cruelty-free. As opposed to other lipsticks that are made with toxic chemicals, the Bella Reina lipstick uses organic grapeseed and jojoba oil, organic shea butter, botanical extracts, and Vitamin E. Vegan lipstick is rarely offered by other manufacturers of cosmetic products in the market. Surprisingly, there are explosive colors that will give lips a dazzling appearance.

Nancy Reagan, the founder of Reina Bella, says, "Our clients trust our advice and recommendations, so our priority was developing products that matched our clients' needs and enhanced their natural beauty. We wanted the vegan lipsticks to explode with color, but be safe for our clients."

This shows the commitment Bella Reina has towards offering products that provide the highest level of satisfaction while carefully paying attention to the use of the right ingredients; especially those that will be able to deliver aesthetic benefits without being harsh.
