Personal Injury Attorney Social Media Marketing Program Offered by Social Media Agency Maximize Social Media LLC

Posted: July 22, 2012 at 6:13 pm

without comments

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 22, 2012

Social media agency Maximize Social Media LLC announced its social media marketing program today for personal injury attorneys, providing online marketing support to the firms nationwide. The agency will offer complete social media management for personal injury attorneys to generate new clients and referrals within their local market. A team of social media professionals at the agency will provide the strategy development and management of Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest accounts.

Social media enables personal injury attorneys to reach new clients by engaging them where they spend the most time - Facebook. Many attorneys use billboards, radio, and TV to reach consumers, which is a shotgun approach to marketing. Social media enables attorneys to laser target prospects they want to reach, and at a fraction of the cost of traditional advertising, said Craig Collins, Sr. Vice President of Maximize Social Media LLC.

Maximize will fully integrate custom applications that are designed to expand the brand reach and convert Facebook visitors into clients. One such application is a free case review, which enables Facebook fans to submit their case to the firm directly within Facebook.

Maximize Social Media provides full social media management services in over 50 different verticals. The agency will fully integrate all aspects of social media for personal injury attorneys that will find it more affordable to outsource the management rather than hire additional staff. Maximize provides both ad management, which will allow the firms to target specific demographics, as well as daily engagement by a dedicated social media manager.

Personal injury attorney attorneys as well as their advertising agencies are invited to contact Maximize Social Media for a no obligation consultation at:

Book Review: Leadership in Business by Raju Khatri (K.C.)

Posted: July 21, 2012 at 4:17 am

without comments

Raju Khatri combines personal experience in leadership in business as an entrepreneur, trainer and motivator. In Leadership in Business, he coaches the reader in individual areas of personal development and achievement. Heprovides a logical motivational approach to starting and running a business. He brilliantly parallels principles of communication, marketing, and motivation from ancient Buddhism, the logic of Hindu Vedas, and from the working production model of the community of bees.

I found his discussion on several topics of particular interest, including: The decision making process, a formula for success, business investment, family business strategy, and situational leadership. The chapter titled "Career Plans in Business" tells the stories of Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and other recognized leaders. Each illustration defines a specific stage of their success story. Illustrations are interesting, informative, and entertaining.

Although much of the material is covered by other personal coaches and self-help books, Raju Khatri's approach is unique. Using a variety of elements within the format of the book enhance, reinforce, and summarize the principles of leadership and success being introduced. These include: Outlines, graphs, charts, case studies, illustrations, lists, topical headings, and parallels. The case studies and illustrations include Sony, Southwestern Bell Corporation, Pepsi-Cola, and other highly recognized companies.

I personally enjoyed Raju Khatri's frequent use of alliteration to emphasize key points. His writing is practical in presentation, content, and conclusions. The book is filled with valuable lessons for every level in one's career, whether beginning employment, starting a small enterprise, operating a challenging business, holding a leadership position in business, or moving into an advisory role.

Raju Khatri's Leadership in Business is worthy of reading, assimilating, and applying--and then starting the cycle all over again. Highly recommended.

Research and Markets: Islam and Sustainable Development: New Worldviews

Posted: at 4:17 am

without comments

DUBLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/7rprrx/islam_and_sustaina) has announced the addition of the "Islam and Sustainable Development: New Worldviews" book to their offering.

In Islam and Sustainable Development, Odeh Al-Jayyousi addresses the social, human and economic dimensions of sustainability from an Islamic perspective. Islam is sometimes viewed as a challenge, threat and risk to the West, but here we are reminded that the celebration of cultural diversity is a key component in Islamic values. Promoting common understanding between East and West, this American-educated, Middle Eastern-based author offers something broader and deeper than conventional Western ways of thinking about sustainability and presents new insights inspired by Islamic worldviews.

Drawing on his roles as both academic researcher and senior development practitioner, Professor Al-Jayyousi applies his deep understanding of Islamic values to contemporary environmental, financial and social conflicts and crises and defines a framework for sustainability embracing local, regional and global perspectives. He also addresses how education might produce innovation, knowledge creation and development to support a new paradigm for sustainability that re-defines what constitutes good life, beyond consumerism and the production of waste.

This book will interest policy makers, development and donor communities, funding agencies and banks in the Islamic World and beyond, as well as those with a professional interest in planning and in environmental and conservation issues. Scholars of Islamic and Middle Eastern studies and more broadly, those with an academic interest in cultural and religious studies, will find that this book in Gower's Transformation and Innovation Series is perhaps the most substantial work yet on sustainable development from an Islamic perspective.

Key Topics Covered:

- Foreword, His Royal Highness El Hassan Bin Talal of Jordan

- Introduction: reflections and personal journey: in search of insight

- Sustainable development revisited

- A framework for sustainable development: Islamic worldviews

Lawsuit Claims UCDD Officials Hacked Personal Messages

By Phil Williams Chief Investigative Reporter

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- A federal lawsuit accuses top officials of the Upper Cumberland Development District of illegally hacking into the personal messages of an employee after she refused to go along with the wrongdoing.

The complaint, filed Wednesday on behalf of former UCDD employee Ashley Pealer, alleges that UCDD officials violated the federal Stored Communications Act, the federal Wiretap Act, as well as her rights under the Fourth Amendment.

It names interim director Randy Williams personally, as well as current UCDD chairman Mike Gannon. Read the lawsuit

"This is the first of the lawsuits that we will file," attorney Gary Blackburn told NewsChannel 5 Investigates.

As we recently reported, Pealer and her mother Kathy were fired by Randy Williams in June, less than two weeks after he took over the agency.

Afterwards, Ashley said that she began hearing from inside agency offices that some of her private messages were being passed around.

"On my smartphone, I had my private Hotmail and my private Facebook account -- I've been told that both have been printed off," she said.

She added that she had found evidence of a strange posting that someone made to her personal Facebook page from the agency cell phone she'd been required to turn in.

It was "from my phone," she said, "to appear as if I was the one who had posted it."

Intent: Spend Some Time on Personal Growth

Posted: at 1:20 pm

"I intend to set aside two hours per day for my own personal growth and spiritual development." | Support Dan's Intent

In this race of life, we often leave ourselves behind. Just like Dan, who set this intent, we are too busy trying to chase success to focus on our personal growth and development. What are we working hard for exactly -- comfort? Happiness? Is money the only route to those goals? While no one can deny the power and importance of money in our life and society, we tend to forget that there are other things that should also hold high value in our lives. Nobody wishes on their deathbed that they had more money, they wish for more time with family, more time spent traveling, more love, more laughter, etc.

We have evolved as humans because of our hunger for knowledge and our desire to be a better version of ourselves. If our ancestors were not curious, our world would be a very different place right now. Along with feeding our materialistic needs, we also need to feed our soul. That food can be anything from meditation, music, art or knowledge. There is a great quote from Henry Ford that says: "The only real security that a man will have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience, and ability."

So take a break this weekend and spend some time reflecting and discover what feeds your soul.
