No one had forewarned Tangerine Dream, when in 1984, they drove to Poland, one of the poorest countries behind the iron Curtain, to play concerts there. Snow and ice were piled high -- the tour took place in december -- and the endeavour took on a catastrophic atmosphere as power failures, minus Celsius temperatures, a cold-infected crew, stolen cars and extremely poor service conditions turned this event into an unforgettable experience for all involved. Excerpts from the Warsaw concert are part of this compilation. Tangerine dream #39;s music had become through the years a kind of brain food, which stimulated their listeners to challenge themselves and their perception of the world. Many people claimed this music had triggered their own artistic growth and personal development. Impressed by the pure power of nature, Tangerine Dream released the concept album, Le Parc. They dedicated this album to some of the most inspiring locations on our planet. Edgars #39; deep feelings for the work of William Blake led to the production of Tyger After the initial shock of hearing vocals again on a TD album, the listener is charmed by the timeless power created in the combination of Blake #39;s poetry and Tangerine Dream #39;s music. Calling himself a "company of one; I have a lot of people I work with but I don #39;t have any employees," Chris Guillebeau personifies the business philosophy he espouses. Setting the goal ten years ago to visit every country in the world -- he #39;s almost done it -- his travels inspired him to write about his experiences. Feeling he didn #39;t know how to write, he decided on the best way to learn: Start a blog and start writing. Thus, The Art of Non-Conformity was born, along with Chris #39; career. This led him to his big-selling book, The $100 Startup, in which his world travel led him to meet, as Chris says, "all kinds of unconventional entrepreneurs" who started businesses "without a lot of money, without going into debt and utilizing the skills they already had" (Please, please pay attention to these words of wisdom -- Ed.). The resulting book tours and collaboration also propelled him to start the World Domination Summit in his home town of Portland, Oregon.
