Religion Notes 12/27/14

MEDITATION & PRAYER:Ever wish you had the time to begin a meditation and prayer practice for yourself? Join with others to take care of yourself in this way.

The Healing Place, 1010 Oakridge Drive, is offering Meditation and Prayer for Lifes Journeys from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning Jan. 6, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays, beginning Jan. 7.

Typical themes of meditation readings are peace, gratitude, love, joy, compassion, courage and hope. Participants can leave stress at the door and be welcomed into peace and serenity.

There is no cost to attend the sessions, and registration isnt necessary.

Call 715-717-6028 to check on program cancellations in the case of inclement weather.

The Healing Place is a community outreach service of HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital and provides free services to anyone in the community who has experienced a loss and is in need of spiritual and emotional support.
