Few supermodels achieve their figures through simple good genes.
And Naomi Campbell proved that she works hard for her amazing appearance when she was spotted getting in a little exercise during her holiday in Ibiza this week.
At 42, Naomi looked incredible in her skimpy black two-piece that displayed her long toned legs and flat stomach.

Miss Campbell fit some exercise into her otherwise relaxing day, doing some light water aerobics in the sea.
Her boyfriend Vladislav Doronin looked on as his beautiful girlfriend worked out.
Naomi showed off as much skin as possible in her brief bikini, but the Russian billionaire covered up in a T-shirt even in the water.

Oldest female bodybuilder loves pumping iron
Posted: May 28, 2012 at 1:21 pm
NEW YORK (Reuters) - As an active 77 year old, Edith Wilma Connor enjoys doing step aerobics with her great-granddaughter. But pumping iron is the real passion of the oldest female competitive bodybuilder.
"When I'm getting ready for competition, I go as heavy as I can," said Connor, who was awarded the title by Guinness World Records. "To me it's fun to add another 25 pounds (11.3 kilograms) and do it."
Connor, who is based in Denver, Colorado, is a late bloomer who began to pursue fitness in her 60s, to counterbalance the sedentary work the data entry company she owned with her husband demanded.
"It was something I could do by myself, for myself," Connor explained. "It was a tension releaser. I sit at a computer all day, so it was one way for me to take it out on the weights instead of the employees."
On her 65th birthday she entered her first competition, the Grand Masters in Las Vegas, and won first place.
"At that point, I was hooked," said Connor who went on to become a certified personal trainer specializing in the mature body.
Her day starts with an aerobic or other warm up exercise followed by weight training. Typically for bodybuilders, all body parts are not trained during each session.
She works out at least three times a week and does not diet, preferring to follow the nutritional guidelines she developed over time for her body type.
"I allow myself a few pounds, until my clothes don't fit right, then it's got to come off," Connor said. "It's a mindset."
She lost her husband of 57 years two weeks after her last competition, in 2011.

Quevedo, Dolar rule PNG aerobics
Posted: at 11:15 am
By Marc Anthony Reyes Philippine Daily Inquirer
CHRISTOPHER Quevedo needed little time to shake off his rust while Charmaine Dolar delivered as expected as they ruled the senior aerobics events of gymnastics in the POC-PSC National Games yesterday at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
Quevedo only had a fews days to practice as he was busy finishing his education degree at Philippine Normal University, but he still proved worthy of the gold medal after amassing 18 points.
The 21-year-old Quevedo, from Tandag, Surigao del Sur, beat former teammate Lester Go, who tallied 17.3 points, while John Boy Amangas of Marikina City wound up third with 16.8 points.
Dolar, a senior education student at University of the East, was hardly threatened as she wowed the judges with her routine moves. She also ruled the recent Suzuki Cup world sports aerobics championships in Tokyo.
She piled up 23.15 points to repeat as champion after topping the event last year in Bacolod.
Dolars teammate Lynette Moreno (20.65) and Jhennylo Gacula (20.6) settled for the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
The gymnastics events were being held at the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines gym inside the RMSC ahead of the PNG which fires off May 25 in Dumaguete, Laguna and Metro Manila.
Former national pool member Jan Freddielu Betita, 17, grabbed the boys group 2 gold (16.8) while newcomer Austin Domingo lorded it over the boys age-group 1 bracket. (9.5 points).
Jasmin Yu of Calamba City (15.3) and Kelly Dionisio-See of Pasay City (15.65) snared the golds in the girls age-group 2 and age-group 1, respectively.
Get your body moving with outdoor water aerobics at Bonita Springs pool
Posted: May 19, 2012 at 3:12 pm
Bonita Springs resident Linda Quinn loves doing aerobics in the water. But the cardiac workout in the shallow end of the pool is not enough for her.
So after a regular water aerobics class, she swims to the other end of the pool for deep water aerobics.
Deep water uses the muscles you dont get to use during an aerobics class, Quinn said.
Lifeguard Jesse Felger said that shallow water aerobics concentrate on increasing the heart rate, but the deep water class is all about muscle and strength.
Deep water is more about resistance and training your muscles, especially in the midsection, he said.
The class takes place in 6 feet of water. Some of the participants use flotation belts to hold them up, while others just tread water during the 45-minute class.
You cant use the ground to maneuver, Quinn said. I want more resistance so I dont use the belt. Im a water nut. I cant exercise on land.
Many of the other participants also say they can do things in the water that they cant do on land.
Regular aerobics, when you are in your 80s, is impossible, Jean Wagener said. This is something someone my age can do. I love the camaraderie.
Nancy Jamek has back problems and says the deep water class really helps her.

Vulgar aerobics protest outside Ambiga’s house
Posted: May 17, 2012 at 1:12 am
(FMT) -A group of 15 men, believed to be retired army veterans, have resorted to staging a vulgar aerobics protest in front of Bersih co-chairmans home, S Ambiga.
They came in front of my house and performed a vulgar dance show. It was very ugly and disgusting.
They also chanted Hidup Polis and Hidup BN, said Ambiga, who was at the court when contacted this morning.
The group of veterans then resorted to performing a strange form of aerobics by showing their bottoms.
Ambiga also said the group of men dared her as well.
They dared me to sue them, otherwise they claimed that they would return with a bigger crowd.
Ambiga added that police were present near her home but they did not take any action.
They did not take action because the police yesterday announced that there was nothing wrong protesting in front of my house, she said.

ACTIVITIES
Getting into an exercise regimen doesn't necessarily mean you have to sign up for a gym membership or pay for a class, here are some activities you can do on your own time without spending a dime.
l Get some exercise and socialize with friends while you walk the entire mall.
l Get your garden or yard in shape, and you'll shape up, too.
l Make your own weights from household items -- plastic milk jugs filled with sand or water, bags of rice, soup cans or bottles of water.
l Rather than driving, walk when doing errands.
l Join in a coastal cleanup, or do one of your own with family and friends
l Put your dancing shoes on and cha-cha the night away at the Chamorro Village's main pavilion on Wednesdays during the night market

Water Aerobics Benefits for People with Multiple Sclerosis
Posted: May 8, 2012 at 7:16 am
Summertime is the hottest time of the year, which is the reason that we love the water so much. A lot of people myself included take full advantage of the pool, and beaches in the summertime to cool off with a good swim. However there are other ways to use a pool other than to swim, which I have been doing since being diagnosed in 2006 with multiple sclerosis.
My neurologist told me about an exercise that I can do in the water, which I had no clue about before. This is kind of funny considering that I grew up in California. My neurologist explained to me that I should be doing water aerobics to keep my muscles strong, and I started to use water aerobics to see if it would work. I have to say that it worked very well indeed.
This is why I proudly give to you the top five benefits of water aerobics for people with multiple sclerosis.
Benefit number one
Multiple sclerosis is a debilitating disease that tears your muscles down, but water aerobics builds your muscles back up. By building my muscles up through water aerobics I'm able to still play the other sports that I love such as tennis, basketball, and cycling to name just a few.
Benefit number two
During my hospital stay in 2006 I put on a little bit of weight and I was afraid that I would not be able to lose this weight. Through the use of water aerobics I was able to lose the weight I put on and more. This is one of the biggest reasons I love to do water aerobics. Water aerobics allow me to know that no matter what I can always get in the water and lose any weight I might put on.
Benefit number three
Water aerobics has allowed me to build up my endurance, which in turn allows me to play longer games of tennis with my friends. Water aerobics, has also lead to me being able to enjoy the other sports that I love such as boxing, walking, and cycling because of my improved endurance.
Benefit number four

Age no barrier for 96-year-old Ontario woman
Posted: May 3, 2012 at 7:14 am
Ontario Evelyn Burton turned 96 April 25, and the water aerobics group at the Ontario Aquatic Center planned to celebrate with her that day but had to wait until April 27 because she went golfing on her birthday instead.
Most people hope to be half as active as Burton when they turn 96, but she doesnt let age slow her down.
Burton, who has resided in Ontario since 1945 and is a widow, still lives at her home and gets out in the yard. She does have a son who checks up on her, but she said she isnt dependent on anyone and still gets out and drives on her own.
Along with water aerobics, in which she takes part three to four days a week, she also regularly bowls, which she has done for more than 20 years, and golfs, sometimes both in the same day.
I feel water aerobics does the most good, that some stuff is just easier in the water, Burton said.
To keep her mind active she is a regular bridge club player, Burton said.
She said church also keeps her busy, and she is an avid traveler.
Evelyn should be a role model for senior fitness and for everyone, Kathy Daly, Ontario Recreation Department director, said.
Daly said water aerobics is good exercise because the water cushions the joints, and people have a better range of motion in the water.
Several other members of the water aerobics group are 80 years of age and older, and one is 90 years old.

Bonding through aerobics

THE police force is always seen as strict members of the law and sometimes approaching them can be quite difficult.
To clear this common misconception, the SEA Park police station organised a second round of aerobics session with the residents.
Some 120 people including police officers from Petaling Jaya, residents of SS2 and representatives of residents associations congregated at the park in front of the police station for the session.
Despite the slight drizzle, everyone was geared up for the exercise conducted by Sergeant Sallehin Hussein.
SEA Park police station chief Inspector Gunam Resul Gulam Mohammad said the exercise was to forge good ties with the people.
It is a great way for everyone to bond and get to know each other. It makes communication really easy. This is friendly community policing, he said.
According to Gunam, their first session received really positive feedback from the residents, prompting them to organise the second event.
He said it was the support of the residents that helped the SEA Park police station garner the Excellent Police Station award from the Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation.
This is also the idea and effort of PJ OCPD Arjunaidi Mohammad. He urged all police stations to focus on building good relationships with the people, he added.
Residents also believe that the police efforts to bridge the gap has been fruitful.
