ROSELAND The Roseland Boosters are asking for people to Zumba and perform aerobics this summer, with two programs targeted to get everyone into motion.

A Zumba Gold Program, consisting of 10 classes, for adults 18 years and older, will be held from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. from Wednesday, July 3 to Wednesday, Sept. 4, in the Roseland Borough Hall All-Purpose Room at 19 Harrison Ave.

The cost for the program is $60.

Zumba fuses Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program. Workouts are appropriate for all fitness and dance levels. No prior experience is necessary.

The workouts used include a wide variety of dance styles, such as Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton, African and Bhangra.

Zumba Gold is a low impact version of Zumba with all the same fun and spicy music, perfect for the active older participant, persons with some limited mobility, as well as those just starting their exercise routine.

The instructor will be Jen deLorenzi. Class size is limited to the first 35 participants and forms are available on the website: http://roselandrecreation.weebly.com/index.html. Participants should wear sneakers and workout clothes and bring water.

The Roseland Boosters are also sponsoring an Adult Multi-Impact Aerobics Class in conjunction with Olimpias Fitness Training for adults 18 years and older. The primary Instructor will be Olimpia Garruto.

This 16-session program will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday nights, July 8 through Aug. 28, in the Borough Hall All-Purpose Room, 19 Harrison Ave.

The class size is limited to the first 35 participants. The fee for the program is $96 and registration forms are at: http://roselandrecreation.weebly.com/index.html.
