While some like to work out at the gym other find more pleasure while working out in water.

Water aerobics help relieve some of the joint pain that people experience when working out.

According to hydroco.com, water's buoyancy virtually eliminates the effects of gravity supporting 90 percent of the body's weight for reduced impact and greater flexibility.

"The good thing about water fitness is that you always have the water to support your body weight and it's less stress on the joints it's 0 to low impact so the things that you cant do on land jumping and stuff like that you very well do here in the water" says Jeaneth Glenn, Group Fitness Director at The YMCA.

All ages can participate in water aerobics.
