A video combining Taylor Swift's smash-hit "Shake it Off" with a hilariously '80s aerobics contest has gone viral in a flash, and a Wauwatosa native is behind it all.

24-year-old Thomas Jung says he was simply browsing YouTube when he found video of a 1989 aerobics championship, and he already had Swift's latest single stuck in his head. The result? A video that looks like a perfect match.

Jung's video has been featured on the TODAY Show, and was even tweeted out by the country-turned-pop superstar herself.

"Everyone's posting it, it's crazy," Jung said of his success. "I just posted it Tuesday."

The Morning Blend interviewed Jung Friday morning about his overnight success. Watch him explain the making of the video below, and enjoy the complete viral creation above in our media gallery.
