HOUSTON -

A 1989 aerobic video that syncs nearly perfectly with Taylor Swift's current song "Shake It Off" is racking up hundreds of thousands of views .

The aerobic competition was back in 1989 in California, but Local 2 figured out that one of the guys on the stage, Paul Bell, lives in Houston.

Bell was 32 years old at the time of the video.

"Do you want my autograph now or later," he said.

Bell says he doesn't do his high kicks anymore, but he still has some smooth aerobic moves.

The 57-year-old said he had no idea about the video pairing with the Taylor Swift song until Friday, but is embracing all the fun that's coming along with it.

"It was just insane," Bell said. "Just really unexpected. Totally out of the blue because that's something that you put in your past and it has come back. Good thing that it was something positive and not something that has come back to haunt me, right?"

After Paul won the competition in 1989, he hung up his dancing shoes. Now he works for a law firm in downtown Houston.
