A MOVE by a mortgage fund to take possession of a Kepler Street property yesterday has forced Warrnambool aerobics teacher Emma Bellman to transfer her classes to the Warrnambool College gym.

A MOVE by a mortgage fund to take possession of a Kepler Street property yesterday has forced Warrnambool aerobics teacher Emma Bellman to transfer her classes to the Warrnambool College gym.

Ms Bellman said she had been locked out of the EKB Fitness and Aerobics studio she leased at 58 Kepler Street yesterday because of a dispute between her landlord and a mortgage fund.

She said she was not involved in the mortgage on the property and had only been a lessee.

Ms Bellman said she was in discussions with the mortgage fund about resuming her use of the studio but was using the Warrnambool College gym in the meantime.

We are still running a business, she said.

The Warrnambool College gym is located in the same building as the colleges indoor pool.

Sheriffs officers yesterday imposed a notice of possession by the Equity-One Mortgage Fund on the front gate of 58 Kepler Street, Warrnambool, near the intersection of Kepler and Koroit streets.

The notice was imposed under a County Court order for possession dated July 22, 2014.
