RILED-UP Glen Innes aqua-aerobics members tagged an extravagant and informal protest in front of Glen Innes Town Hall this month, urging Glen Innes Severn Council to address issues with the Glen Innes Aquatic Centre.

RILED-UP Glen Innes aqua-aerobics members tagged an extravagant and informal protest in front of Glen Innes Town Hall this month, urging Glen Innes Severn Council to address issues with the Glen Innes Aquatic Centre.

The group marched onto Grey St to the tune of a lone piper before tethering themselves to the town hall in dressing gowns and elaborate costumes for about 15 minutes.

As the pool refurbishment reference group prepares to meet for the third time this year after releasing a feasibility survey to gauge the centres user demographic and gather data on projected usage after the eventual refurbishment, the protest group called for current issues to be addressed in a more timely manner.
