SEVEN gold, six silver and two bronze medals highlighted an overwhelmingly successful state championships weekend for Warrnambools aerobics exponents.

The medallists are among more than 40 from EKB Fitness and Aerobics who will compete at national level after qualifying at the two-day championships in Geelong.

Highlights included Jordan Rooke, 16, winning gold in the junior international solo and doubling up with his team Fierce.

Hayley Dalton, 10, impressed with her runner-up effort in the cadet international solo class.

Hayley backed up with two gold medals in team events, with cadet hip hop outfit Krazy Crew and cadet national team Intensity.

Also in the international stream, senior team Fierce won gold, senior trio Audacity claimed gold and junior team Fusion emerged with silver.

There was much success in the national stream, including cadet team Intensity winning its class and cadet trio Dynamic placing third.
