A CHAMPION weight watcher has shed half her body weight in just over a year. Eileen Morris, aged 48 of Dyserth, lost the weight after joining Towyn WeightWatchers in January last year, loosing more than 100 pounds.

Eileen, who is a full time carer of husband Ray, said: I found it quite easy to lose the weight. As long as you stick to the diet plan you're fine. I've never been hungy on it - even on points you can eat whatever you want as long as your stick to them.

To lose the weight, Eilieen stuck to her plan, carried out plenty of excercise and ate filling foods like fruit and vegetables.

She added: I feel like I have a lot of energy now where as before I couldnt really walk much without getting breathless.

Losing weight has come with a new life style. I walk four to five miles a day, and I now play netball which I hadnt played for 27 years, and have taken up Zumba which is a lot of fun, its not really like a workout.

Weightwatchers has helped a lot as it is a very supportive community. Theres a Facebook page so we can all help each other out when times are difficult.

My family and friends are very proud - my son wrote me a letter to say how proud he was and put it in my christmas card.
