Camille and Neil Fernandez married in Wellington on Feb 1 2013, five years to the day they met at the Sevens in 2008.

He was a female aerobics instructor, she a Greek goddess. Their eyes met across a crowded concourse and today the Wellington couple are married with a newborn daughter after love bloomed at rugby's Wellington Sevens.

Their love story began on February 1, 2008, at the country's biggest costume party, which over the years has led to romance and tales of enduring love.

Camille was with a group of similarly clad deities and saw Neil on the concourse at Westpac Stadium.

They looked at each other, smiled and started chatting.

She borrowed a pen from a police officer and got Neil's number but it seems the pair were destined to be together - their respective groups bumped in to each other on the way out and partied the night away in Courtenay Place.

The next week they spent Valentines Day together.

Five years to the day from their first meeting they became Neil and Camille Furnandiz in a wedding ceremony at Old St Paul's - during the sevens.

Guests were given a map to walk to the reception at The Boatshed on the waterfront so they could soak up the festive vibe as fans in full costume made their way to the stadium.
