Having practiced Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture since 1984, Dr. Michael Mingcai Zhao has seen how meridian meditation can holistically heal people with illnesses that cannot be effectively cured by current medications. He aims to spread awareness regarding this method with his book, Meridian Meditation (published by Xlibris).

Dr. Zhaos book is about achieving wellness by using meditation within the meridians in a persons own body. It shows readers how they may collect their energy from different sources like food, nature, hereditary factors, etc. and boost their energy in the meridians and internal organs within their bodies. The methods taught in this book use imaginary points and meridians in the body, and there are several levels that boost a persons energy from the meridians and systems. These natural, healing methods apply a persons own spiritual ability to help strengthen their body and bolster the functions of their immune system to achieve exceptional well-being and longevity.

Today, many people rely on medications such as steroids and painkillers, but they are still suffering from their illness. They then look to natural therapy to truly recover from diseases, says Dr. Zhao, This book helps them to reach their goal. His book shares healing methods that holistically treats both the spiritual and physical aspects of a person to achieve wellness and longevity.
