KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- The Kirksville Parks and Recreation Department is giving a second chance at a new program.

The first session of the Teen Fitness water aerobics course was cancelled due toa very low turnout tosign up for the course. Recreation Specialist Robin Harden said though that they are optimistic that they will get the program running.

They are now taking sign ups for the second session which begins this upcoming Monday, July 14.

"In the teen fitness class, we're going to explore all different types of water aerobics, indoor or outdoor activities. Basically we're going to do whatever we want to do and have a lot of fun," Harden said.

Young people ages 13 to 20 are encouraged to sign up. The group will meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings at 11:30 until August 8.

The cost is $10 which will also cover admission to the pool. Click hereto sign up for the course or you can visit the Kirksville Aquatic Center. You can also call (660) 627-1485.
