This Sports enhanced compound circuit is great for athletes such as footballers, rugby players, hockey players etc.. it is designed to hit the core and the big muscle groups, it will help increase power and endurance to help you in those dying minutes of a game! Key points: although this is a weighted cirucit it also a great fat burner, but to enchance a greater performance, cardio vascular is a big key espically for sports where they stop and start (football, rugby and hockey) LSD, Fartleck and interval training is key! Areas to consider: when performing these excercise always keep the elbows and knees soft at the top (never lock out) this will ensure we keep the tension on all the muscles being worked and protect the joints. ALWAYS WARM UP before attempting this type of training (7-10mins 70/80% of your heart rate) Keep the weights light to begin with at 40% of your 1RM to ensure FORM BEFORE WEIGHT, to ensure progress and great results!!! With all the excercise keep the core braced by drawing in the belly button, remember training your core is very important it is where all your power, strength and stability comes from! Insturctions: choose a back, chest, leg, shoulder and core/power excersise, in that order (keeps the training balanced) 20 reps on each excercise repeat 3 times through with a 2 minute rest between each set. A quick affective workout to help get the best results (HIIT) remember to cool down with a full body strecth!
