http://www.ivaa.org - In this 5-minute video, Carla Wilson, President at International Virtual Assistants Association aka IVAA gives her President #39;s Message for December. It #39;s so hard to believe that it #39;s December already and we #39;re nearly ready to celebrate the New Year! I wanted to take a few moments to offer some advice. During December, my workload tends to slow a bit. I do two things during this time 1. I take time for myself. I do a lot of yoga in December so that I rest and renew and I #39;m ready for the new year. 2. I take time to focus on my business and what I want it to look like in the next year. I will make some changes to my website and marketing plan, take some training, create my budget and decide what professional development I will do in the new year. On the first Wednesday of each month, our volunteer Lara Nieberding hosts a "New Member Orientation" webinar to make you aware of all the benefits our members enjoy. If you see new members introducing themselves on our IVAANet listserv, please reach out to them. Our Live Summit Committee needs volunteers! I attended the Live Summit Committee meeting today and there are several tasks for which they need assistance. We are in need of a roommate coordinator, and more folks to assist on the Activities sub-committee.
