Navsari (Gujarat), Nov 8 (ANI): Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Thursday hailed the re-election of U.S. President Barack Obama, saying his win indicates that the common man will get an opportunity to participate in bringing about change, and will also end the unequal and unfair distribution of wealth and property

"Victory of Obama indicates that the fight between one percent rich class people and 99 percent common man would end. Now, the common man would participate in formation of government, system and will have a share in the property and natural resources. The unfair distribution of property, unfair prosperity, unfair consumption and unfair participation would come to an end," Ramdev told media here.

Defying the undertow of a slew economic recovery and high unemployment, Obama created history again by defeating his Republican foe Mitt Romney.

Further talking about the retail reforms introduced by the Central government, Baba Ramdev said the government is behaving like an agent of the foreign companies and Indian capitalists.

"The hand of the Congress is not with the common man but it is with the foreign companies like Wal-mart, multinationals and with the Indian capitalists. It seems that the Indian government has become a slave of the foreign companies and is behaving like a tout of the foreign companies," said Ramdev.

He further said that the Congress party has created a world record in corruption.

"This (Congress) party has created a world record in scams, so people should beware of this party and the party members should be warned about their wrong doings or else they will lose their power," he added.

Baba Ramdev further accused the Congress party for promoting those who were involved in wrong doings.

"Other political parties are also tainted but there are few of the politicians who are ready to rectify their mistakes. But the Congress has promoted all the leaders who were alleged of corruption charges," he added. (ANI)
