Standard 1.9 Clinical Trial Accrual | Commission on Cancer Program Standards 2012
Standard 1.9, Clinical Trials Accrual, is a phase-in Standard for 2015 as the required participation rates have been increased for most accreditation categories. Cancer programs will be required to accrue a specified percentage of patients to cancer-related clinical trials yearly, based on category. This video series was created to assist you in understanding and interpreting the CoC Standards. The series includes an introduction video, two videos describing the Eligibility Requirements and an additional 26 individual videos describing select standards. Each video begins with the definition of the standard, describes the requirements for meeting the standard and concludes with best practice information. We hope that you and other members of your cancer committee find these videos useful as your cancer program works to implement and maintain compliance with the CoC Standards.
