Adopt Ellie! Ellie (fka Kirstie Alley, or as her friends affectionately call her, Fatty Pants) is an adorable pudge of a cat! This rotund and curvy gal is 11 years old and weighs in at a fantastic twenty pounds. Ellie was surrendered to the Philly Animal Control shelter in the winter of 2012 and was transferred to the PSPCA in March, 2012, where she had been living for nine months until she went into foster care in mid-November. She was surrendered for not using her litter box, but, turns out, Ellie had a bad urinary tract infection that went untreated in her former home and developed bladder stones. Today, she eats special food to keep her bladder healthy and hasn #39;t had any issues in almost a year. Ellie #39;s adopter will even go home with not only Ellie herself, but a nice supply of her special food. Ellie #39;s favorite past-times are: Napping, eating, cuddling, sunbathing, staring at you, eating again, and wearing hats. Ellie also enjoys grooming her front paws and crossing them. She #39;s really into that. Ellie ADORES snuggling and would spend an entire day (and night, most likely) beside you, purring the hours away. She would do best in a quiet and laid-back home where she can waddle happily around. And while some consider 11 years old a senior cat, Ellie likes to think she #39;s just middle aged and is looking forward to many more years in her forever (aka retirement) home.
