Recognized as one of the nations top weight loss resorts, Hilton Head Health focuses on improving the health of teens in its own backyard in a two-day health and fitness workshop.

Hilton Head Island, SC (PRWEB) November 09, 2012

Led by H3 Intern Bethany Myles, the workshop features hands-one activities including a Hip Hop Aerobics Class and teen health discussion. Attendees will also learn how to set realistic and attainable health goals.

Myles aims to give teens the opportunity to look at health from a different perspective. I want teens to understand that health and fitness dont just affect them physically, but can actually impact them academically and sociallyessentially, their health can affect their overall quality of life, said Myles.

Myles currently holds a Bachelors of Science Tennessee State University and is close to obtaining her Masters in Exercise Science with a concentration in fitness and health promotion from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Ga.
